Barbara Miron - Founder, Guide & Therapist
Hello! Thank you for inviting me into your healing journey. Here I share more about my own path.
Wild places draw and sustain me. Just as the natural elements shape an environment, so too, I’ve been nurtured by wild places, soulful people, and extraordinary experiences.
Nature has been a place of connection, belonging, healing, inspiration, rest, and growth since my childhood.
In 2021, I completed a one month, 300+ mile, solo backpacking expedition on the Superior Hiking Trail. Living simply in nature allowed me to hear & attend to internal stirrings and Abundant Wellness was inspired.
Having my own business allows me to serve you from a place of fullness while fostering a balanced mind-body-spirit connection & being active outdoors.
Truly, I am at my best and most at home when I’m in nature.
Return home and join me there, in nature. I look forward to connecting with you!

I am thankful to witness sacred stories of profound transformation in my relationships as perpetual student, guide and therapist. I am grateful to God for His healing work in me, for the magnificent earth He created, and the ways it holds and sustains, and for those whose shoulders I humbly stand upon.

Twenty five years as a human service professional has provided a broad foundation, diverse skill set, & experience working with people from all walks of life. I love the healing work that I’ve been called to support.
I obtained a Massage Therapy Diploma at Lake Superior College. Undergraduate studies were completed at The College of St. Scholastica and a Masters Degree in Social Work was earned at The University of Minnesota Duluth in 2002. I am a trauma informed therapist and am Wilderness First Aid and CPR Certified.

In 2021 I completed a one month, 300+ mile, solo backpacking trip on the Superior Hiking Trail. I literally started from the front yard of my Duluth, MN home and finished at the Canadian boarder. Living simply in nature inspired me to hear & attend to internal stirrings of The Holy Spirit. There were many challenges along the trail including injury, illness, revised plans, and the unexpected. And yet, there was also tremendous joy and supportive community!
A growing expansiveness called me to a different way of living; of BEING. John 10:00 says, “The thief comes only to kill, steal, and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
I was learning to live into an abundant life and it called for courage to operate in The Spirit from my authentic heart-center. This birthed the business Abundant Wellness. Having my own business allows me to serve you from a place of fullness while fostering a balanced mind-body-spirit connection & being active outdoors.

The support I offer is rooted in my Christian faith and its transformative power. Christ enabled me to shift from surviving life and its inherent traumas to living whole-heatedly and joyfully in nurturing reciprocal relationships. My healing was not just for myself, but to expand my capacity for living and loving others. I seek to be a conduit of support to those who are also learning to recognize and live into their own wholeness.
I offer wellness services to reduce suffering, and support the abundance of health, enjoyment, satisfaction, and ease in your life. It is my practice to offer compassionate care while simultaneously upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

My passion & purpose is to serve you, to be a conduit for healing, to responsibly steward the abundant gifts given, & mutually discover awe in the ordinary & sacred. I find tremendous satisfaction in serving, being in nature, & engaging in creative outlets.
Along the way, I have learned to notice & attend to what inspires my own thriving. These practices include being in nature, being in nurturing relationships, & being in my Christian faith. This wellspring of abundance acts as a confluence where together we can flow in the ordinary & sacred work of nurturing healing & wholeness for ourselves, others, & the world.
My purpose is to support you in being at your best. I do this by offering wellness services to reduce suffering, & support the abundance of health, enjoyment, satisfaction, & ease in your life. It is my practice to offer compassionate care while simultaneously upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
Invitation: Let’s thrive together as we curiously explore what is wild on the inside and outside.

My Help is in the mountain
by Nancy Wood
My Help is in the mountain
Where I take myself to heal
The earthly wounds
That people give to me.
I find a rock with sun on it
And a stream where the water runs gentle
And the trees which one by one give me company.
So must I stay for a long time
Until I have grown from the rock
And the stream is running through me
And I cannot tell myself from one tall tree.
Then I know that nothing touches me
Nor makes me run away.
“Thus the world grows rich, grows wild, and you too, grow rich, grow sweetly wild, as you too were born to be.” Mary Oliver
